Support the people you hire from overseas — without straying into advice.

From the moment you make an offer, your overseas hire and their family face a wall of visa questions. HR can't give immigration advice, but you can give them clarity built on the official rules.

The problem

Your best candidate is anxious, and HR's hands are tied.

Overseas hires worry about their visa, their dependants and their timelines — and they bring those questions to HR. But giving immigration advice without regulation is a legal risk, so your team is stuck saying ‘we can't help with that’. That gap costs you goodwill, and sometimes the hire.

Straight answers

Questions employers & nhs sponsors ask.

Does this replace our sponsor licence, CoS or right-to-work checks?

No. VisaBuddy doesn't apply for a sponsor licence, assign a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) or perform statutory right-to-work checks — those remain your legal duties as a sponsor. It gives candidates clear information on the published Skilled Worker and Health & Care rules, so the process starts from an informed footing.

We hold a sponsor licence — can HR use this?

Yes. HR can't give immigration advice, but you can give candidates accurate information from the published rules. VisaBuddy does exactly that, on GOV.UK sources, without crossing into advice.

Is it useful for NHS and care hiring?

Yes. It covers the Health & Care Worker and Skilled Worker routes among others, so overseas clinicians and carers see the published requirements before they arrive.

How are we billed?

A single flat fee of £250 a year for your whole organisation — unlimited checks and reports, no per-employee charge.
